Iryna Chernyak, Director of Media Group Ukraine’s Content Sales Department: “We would like to thank GoQuest Media, the international distributor of our TV dramas, for this cooperation. We have lots of new high-quality TV shows to any taste and budget, and we will continue developing our cooperation with GoQuest Media.”
Speaking of the deal, Mansi Shrivastav, MX Player’s Senior Vice President and Head of Content Acquisitions, Alliances & Syndication Department, commented, “International content is currently widespread and available in India. MX Player dubs it into local languages to attract the broad audience. After Korean and Turkish TV shows, there is a notable growth of interest to Ukrainian dramas in the country – mainly because these stories tell about ordinary people’s everyday life and their challenges and problems, which makes them appealing to viewers globally. Cooperation with GoQuest Media is yet another step towards enriching our large catalogue of the global content, which Indian viewers can watch for free.”
Jimmy George, GoQuest Media’s Sales & Acquisition Vice President, added, “We are sure the interest to content in foreign languages will only grow, as more and more streaming giants, such as MX Player, wish to present a diverse choice to their subscribers. This deal secured our confidence even more. We are happy to bring these films home, and we could not think of a better partner than MX Player.”
