Olya’s life is turning into hell: her beloved husband Pavel dies in an accident. At his funeral, she learns that he was unfaithful to her, so that the memory of the happy marriage is destroyed. Her mother-in-law, who Olya loved like her mother, kicks her out of the house, and her husband’s older brother tries to rape her… In the midst of these events, Olya realizes that she is pregnant – such is the “farewell gift” from her deceased husband. She decides to keep the baby, leaves for a small town and breaks all old ties. However, the past finds her. Upon learning that she has a granddaughter, Olya’s mother-in-law starts a war for the baby. For the sake of her child, for the sake of new love and for herself, Olya must win this war.
