FAMILY AND A LITTLE JUSTICE
At her father’s funeral a famous journalist Marina Nikolaeva learns the truth she could never be ready for – that she was adopted. Everyone around, including Marina’s fiancé Artem, claim she fell victim to a bad joke. But Marina’s not used to relying on insinuations, so she decides to find out the truth of her origin whatever it might take her. When she arrives at the address from the note that brought her the fatal news, Marina finds herself at a crime scene – the man who reveals the truth to her is shot dead. Marina is arrested, and now she’s the only suspect, while the detective in charge of her case has known Marina for a long time, and she made him trouble some time ago. Her being part of the general’s family helps Marina to be released, while detective Volchok, an experienced and deeply wise man, having developed sympathy for Marina, takes up helping her step by step approach the answer to her chief questions – who she is and what happened to her true family.
