FAMILY FOR A YEAR
Maryna is a successful HR manager at a big company. Being 35, she is still single and has long been disappointed in men. However, she dreams to have a child but has no one to get pregnant from and, besides, believes it is too late for her. Once her friend Tonya suggests that she adopts a child. Maryna goes to an orphanage, where she meets a boy named Denis, who she really likes. She arranges all documents necessary for the adoption, but due to her old conflict with her classmate Sveta, who now works at the social service, she is denied the right to adopt Denis. The service motivates the deny by the fact she is single. Maryna suddenly remembers she recently had an interview with Serhiy. It is a handsome, smart and kind man but due to his unserious attitude towards life, he lost his job. Serhiy likes animals and recently took the dog called Ricky, which ended up in the street after its owner died. Naturally, Maryna did not take Serhiy to work for their company, but now she offers him, for money, to arrange a sham marriage so that she can finally adopt the kid.
However, it turns out their new family will be observed by the social service throughout all the next year, and Sveta will seek any excuse to take Denis away from Maryna.
